8 Days Lemosho Route Kilimanjaro Climbing

Overview

The 8 Days Lemosho Route is widely regarded as one of the most scenic and successful ways to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. Starting on the remote western side of the mountain, this route offers a quieter and more exclusive experience, allowing climbers to fully immerse themselves in the natural beauty of Tanzania.

Trekkers journey through a variety of stunning landscapes, from lush rainforest and wildlife-rich zones to open moorlands, alpine deserts, and finally the icy summit of Uhuru Peak (5,895m). The longer 8-day itinerary is specifically designed to allow for better acclimatization, significantly increasing summit success rates and reducing the risk of altitude sickness.

With its gradual ascent profile, breathtaking panoramic views, and expert-guided support, the Lemosho Route is ideal for both first-time climbers and experienced adventurers seeking a safe, enjoyable, and unforgettable journey. Along the way, you will be supported by a professional team of guides, porters, and cooks dedicated to ensuring your comfort and success on Africa’s highest peak.
